AXA Chair in Adversarial Risk Analysis
While traditional l risk analysis is based on models for which loss is mainly governed by chance, he will combine it with game theory to deal with malicious or self-interested actions of intelligent adversaries.
He will thus deliver better methods for risk management in areas like cyber security, terrorist attacks or corporate competition, providing new insights analyzing intentionality of adversaries, and, consequently, better protecting our infrastructures, organizations, assets and lives.
